2012 Australian Adventure
“In America, there are two classes of travel: First class, and with children.” — Robert Benchley
Come what may the kids (aged 5 & 3!) and I have embarked on a winter adventure around Australia. We’ll travel from South Florida in the USA to the Gascoyne and Western Kimberley regions of Western Australia (a mere 35+ hours in transit, what could possibly go wrong?). After three weeks in the remote north west of the country we’ll travel on to visit family and friends in Perth, Western Australia as well as in Sydney and on the Central Coast of New South Wales. We’ll then brave the winter chills of Hobart and Launceston in Tasmania, stop by for a cheeky visit to Melbourne, Victoria and finish back in the outback with a week in Broken Hill (a mining town near the border of New South Wales and South Australia).
First class? Certainly not! Madness? Perhaps – but we’re having a ball.
